As vice president, Dr. Sandoval-Lucero serves as CEO of the Boulder County Campus, and represents the campus and college throughout Boulder County. She serves on the boards of the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Boulder County, and the Longs Peak Hospital Foundation. During her time at FRCC, she has led efforts to gain approval and accreditation for the college’s fist Bachelors of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Geospatial Science, renovate the campus to improve the student experience, and collaborate with the FRCC Foundation to raise funds for training equipment for a Center for Integrated Manufacturing that will open in 2019.

Previously, she served as vice president of student affairs for four years, and dean of student success for three years at the Community College of Aurora (CCA) in Aurora, Colorado. During her time at CCA, she led the efforts to help the college achieve Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) status, and was engaged in the equity and inclusive excellence work of the college. Dr. Sandoval-Lucero has more than 25 years of experience in academic and student affairs settings in higher education. Dr. Sandoval-Lucero teaches in the higher education program at the University of Denver, and has presented, researched, and written extensively about the field of student affairs.
