Open the Next Door: Help Support Women Leaders in Higher Education

Help expand access to leadership development opportunities across Colorado and Wyoming.

Leadership development can shape a career. The opportunity to learn alongside peers, build meaningful relationships, and explore new possibilities can have a lasting impact. But access to these experiences shouldn’t depend solely on the professional development funding available at someone’s institution.

The Colorado & Wyoming Network of Women Leaders (CWNWL) is launching a fundraising initiative to help more women leaders participate in our programs, regardless of their institutional financial resources.

Your Gift Opens Doors

Contributions will provide full and partial participation assistance for three CWNWL programs:

  • Academic Management Institute (AMI): A year-long leadership development experience that builds skills, confidence, and professional connections.
  • The Summit: An opportunity for leadership learning, reflection, and connection.
  • Annual CWNWL Reunion: A chance to reconnect with colleagues, strengthen professional networks, and continue learning together.

By helping offset participation costs, your gift can make these valuable experiences accessible to leaders who might otherwise be unable to attend.

Our Initial Goal: $10,000

We’re working to raise $10,000 to support several participants while beginning to build a sustainable source of financial assistance for future CWNWL leaders.

To put your gift into perspective, registration for AMI is $1,800, while registration for The Summit is $2,500. Contributions of every size can help cover all or part of these costs.

Help Open the Next Door

If you’ve benefited from CWNWL’s programs, relationships, or professional community, you know the difference these opportunities can make.

Now you can help create that same opportunity for someone else.

Every gift matters. Together, we can open doors for the next generation of women leaders in higher education.
